This page was mainly intended to tell you all about PhotoMax,
but I am also including all I offer for FREE on my Web site to make
things easy and let all customers find the good deals fast.
(Just take a look at the coupons to the right).
The number one FREE thing that I offer is of course the Doll Maker.
I probably get a higher amount of emails with questions about my
graphics and how to use the doll maker, or to thank me and congratulate
me, than I do about all the other services I offer combined. The thing
is that pixel art and dolls have become super famous around kids and
teens all over the world, and so this service is not limited to customers
in Raleigh mainly, as there is no need to make an appointment to come by.
Even when I get graphics orders for baby web sites, embroidery, scrap-
booking and such, all graphics are sent via email once payment is finalized.
Well, for all of you who have not yet visited it, you may click HERE.
I hope you have lots of fun!

The reason for MY PRODUCT
Well, as you all know, I specialize in selling my photographs
on a high resolution version on CD with a copyright release letter.
Why? Oh my..., so many reasons!
First of all, I always hated it when I used to go and have my photos
taken and once you saw the proofs, you were ridiculously charged for
the actual prints or photos on paper. Those prices by the sheet are
a killer! It was almost impossible to get prints of all the different
poses you liked in different sizes to send family and friends, and
also to frame. Once you actually bought the photos, shared with others,
hung up, etc... you had nothing left. The Photography Studio of course
doesn't keep your negatives or digital images forever, and so basically
they just get rid of what you'd value the most, and well, it is just
the best way to make money. They know once you see the photos you will
have a hard time choosing, you will want to share with others, etc...
and so to keep their sales up they come up with packages that just
trick you into buying because you are getting such a "better deal" than
by the sheet. But I am pretty sure that most people can agree to the
fact that if they get a reasonable amount of poses and sizes at
other Photography Studios, they end up spending hundreds of
dollars on images printed on paper.
Even the most inexpensive places ever, and I know the market, trick
you with the greatest offer ever, but it then happens to be applicable
to the first photograph of the series and if so the photographer didn't
capture a great image on that first photo, here come the super high
charges!
When it first came out, I thought that digital photography was almost
a blessing and miracle to all of us who have always loved taking photos.
Now, you can take hundreds of photos, see the results on large images on
your computer, retouch all your photos on your PC (Adobe PhotoShop is of
course our Digital Dark Room leader) and end up with great looking
photos that can be turned into sepia or black and white at the touch
of a button.
These digital images can later on have unlimited uses like seeing them
on your TV with a DVD player, using them on your computer as a wallpaper
for your desktop, you may email them, print them at home, at your local
photo lab (for cents, literally speaking), upload them and print them
online, order photo gifts and products (even photo bakery and jewelry
products now!), etc... but most of all, they are a memory, a moment of
someone's life that has been captured and that can be kept forever
to always have access to it in the future.
So I decided I was going to give my customers the original work,
the images that given a long enough time I'd have to throw away anyway,
images of their newborns, their wedding, their graduation, it just
makes sense. I checked around and the few places that offered them
to their customers were selling them for a minimum of $25 a piece
(that's the high resolution and printable version I'm referring to)
and even though that is already a great price I believe compared to
buying by the sheet, I thought it would really limit the number of
poses my customers could buy. See? what I do actually involves
five different poses with changes of clothes, customes,
backdrops and props, and so once you go and check the
100 to 200 images that you will get as proofs, it is very
difficult to choose... and why would I do all that work if later on
my customers could only afford to buy 1 or 2 photos?
The answer is simple...I don't and they don't!
I take a lot of pride (not that I'm boasting, I hope) in the fact that I'd
say 85% of my customers end up getting their entire photo session
on CD, which includes their favorite 3 or 4 photos from each of the
various poses. They actually get 12+ high resolution photos on CD
for only $100, and most of them must enjoy it, as my business has
basically grown by word of mouth since I didn't have much money at
first to advertise.

So... why PhotoMax?
Well, there is a small percentage of people who are just used to
prints and this is what they prefer to order, sometimes even in
addition to the photo CD. For these customers, I decided I was not
going to buy me the most expensive printer in the market, so I had
to find a good and reliable company to do all my printing.
I first tried a few local photo labs in order to have the prints
available sooner and it was OK I guess, but I hated the trips there
to drop the photo CD, and later the trips back to pick up my orders.
It was pretty much like working with film again, and so that didn't
last long.
Then I started trying some online photo companies until I think
I had tried them all (Snapfish, Shutterfly, Kodak, etc...) and finally
I was satisfied with the quality, customer service and prices offered
by YorkPhoto. And all these companies of course, offer more than just
the prints to order online, they all have some kinds of cute photo
gifts such as the usual hats, T-shirts, christmas ornaments, etc.
It was then that I had a representative of Photomax contact me and
many other photographers to take a look at the company she worked
for. Unlike all others, their web site didn't seem to be an exact
copy of each other's, it was different and very elegant from the
start... and so I thought: wow, let's see their prices... WRONG!
Photomax is great in that they have THE LARGEST SELECTION OF
PHOTO PRODUCTS I have ever seen, from beautiful jewelry displaying
your most cherrished photos to photo birthday cakes and other bakery
products! And it not only offers you original photo gifts but it also
serves as a way to preserve all your memories, they print offering
the best quality there is and at THE MOST COMPETITIVE PRICES
(4x6 photos are only 12 cents, 5x7 prints 1 dollar!!!), and they can create
absolutely beautiful movies from your pictures with music, text, etc.
Well, no need to tell I have been using their services ever since, for
my own personal photos and for the business' orders.
So, what I want here is to tell all my customers who still don't know
about PhotoMax to go and take a look around. Anyone who signs up
will receive a free website to store their photos and 15 FREE
4x6 prints (20 if you mention I was the friend who referred you
to them)!
All you have to do is click here and sign up on the next window
that opens up. Enter my email address (babiesonthego@yahoo.com)
where it says "Friend's Email" and you will get 5 additional prints.
Well, that's all, I hope that the above information was of help...
and that it will allow you to continue having fun with your photos.
Sincerely,
Rosa Weber, BABIES ON THE GO.
