I am so happy with all the happiness Tae Kwon
Do has offered to Katarina. It provides her with great joy
to learn the discipline and move through all the belt levels
and accomplishments. I am so proud of her for all the hard
work she has put into becoming a high red belt. I am so grateful
for all the instructors and Master Lee.
Heather Lombardo. |
 |
It is really fun when you get called up for you new belt
because everyone is cheering for you and yelling your name.
Tae Kwon Do gives me a goal to achieve. I am learning things
or practicing things instead of watching TV or playing on
the computer. You are being active instead of being lazy.
My social studies, science and health and reading grades have
improved since I have been taking TKD because I am more focused.
Katarina Lombardo. |
 |
The benefits I've gotten from TKD are, self-discipline, strength,
control, friendship, respect and courage. I like Lee Brothers
because it's a fun thing to do in your free-time. It teaches
you many things, including how to defend yourself, respect,
self-control and much more. Also, it has many instructors
who can teach you almost everything you need to know about
TKD. My favorite things at TKD are probably self-defense and
the forms, but it is all fun. I also like that each instructor
teaches people individually if they need it and treat them
all as equals.
Lukas Moisan. |

David is a familiar face at Lee Brothers because
of his participation in the after school program. What has drawn
me to Lee Brothers is the feeling that my children are an important
part of a community of children, parents and instructors. David
is learning to be a part of that community. I also feel that
both of my sons are stronger, more agile and are fitter than
they would be after being in the Tae Kwon Do program. The important
theme of respect is very well practiced at TKD. Thanks for supporting
my boys and for caring whether they succeed.

There are many aspects of TKD that are both
beneficial to my physical and emotional health. TKD allows
me to relieve a lot of stress that builds up during the day.
After a class, my body feels less tight and my mind relaxed.
TKD, in addition, gives me a good amount of exercise. By doing
sets of push-ups and sit-ups in class, I get the physical
fitness that I don't get at school. TKD also teaches me important
skills, such as how to defend myself when attacked. I also
learn self-discipline and how to respect others. In conclusion,
TKD is an important sport that I feel contributes a lot to
my physical well-being.
Harrison Do.

I really like sparring the most because you
get to fight somebody and you get points. But you have to
hit the person in the chest protector, or the head guard.
Tae Kwon Do makes me have stronger muscles. It helps me learn
to respect other people.
Nick Lopez.
|
 |
My favorite thing in Tae Kwon Do is sparring.
I like Lee Brothers better than the other school I went to
because I feel like I am learning more. I like Tae Kwon Do
because it makes me feel safer when I am alone somewhere.
I like how at Lee Brothers we learn falling techniques.
Katie Lipscomb.
|
 |
I like Tae Kwon Do because it teaches you
different forms. I like forms because when I'm doing them,
I feel like I'm fighting someone with fancy moves. Lee Brothers
is a fun, interesting school that let's you travel through
the most exciting stages in becoming a master. I think Tae
Kwon Do is a wonderful sport that everybody should learn.
I would like to thank Master Lee, Ms Carlucci, Mr. Miller
and Ms. Haire for they were the masters and instructors that
helped me as a red belt.
Grant Do.
|
 |
I like Tae Kwon Do because it teaches you
how to defend yourself. My most favorite thing to do in TKD
is self-defense, because you learn different ways to defend
yourself. I enjoy Lee Brothers because classes are entertaining
and the staff is very nice. TKD also gives me good exercise,
which keeps my body healthy. Pierce Do I started TKD three
years ago in summer camp. It has helped me to be a better
person. TKD has taught me martial arts, to be nice to other
people, and I have made a lot of new friends.
Garrett Prince.
|
 |
In Tae Kwon Do, I have learned to defend myself,
and some of the Korean language. I've learned kicks, blocks,
forms, self-defense, and to be more obedient. The most important
thing I've learned in Tae Kwon Do is self-control and being
more mentally strong.
Jason Chen.
|
 |
I like Tae Kwon Do because it's a balance
between mind and body, not just mindless kicks and punches.
I also like TKD because it teaches discipline and self-control
and not only kicks, punches and forms, but also self-defense
as well. I like Lee Brothers the best because everyone is
so nice and kind and I've made lots of friends.
Amy Lazo.

 |
TKD is definitely a family and a fun environment.
My son enjoys the time he spends at TKD. He builds confidence,
learns the aspect of respect and definitely discipline from
all the staff at TKD, and of course, the TKD skills. For me,
I like how you taught the youngsters the "small act of
kindness". Overall, my family enjoys being a part of
TKD's family. Best regards, Chi Bui Josh loves to spar. He
is always very enthusiastic about going to class. There is
a wonderful sense of community amongst the members at Lee
Brothers.
Gary Kindler.
|
 |
I like Lee Brothers because I think that it
is right for me and it is not very hard to learn and all the
instructors are very nice. It has helped me build my self-confidence
level and to not be afraid of a lot of things that I was afraid
of before I started TKD. I know a lot of people there, so
I am more into it and I really just love it!
Tori Rightmyer.
|
 |
I like Tae Kwon Do because I get to run around
during class. We get to kick and punch during sparring. We
get to do chin-ups. We get to do those combination kicks.
I like Tae Kwon Do because my friends go there. It helps build
muscles for baseball. It helps me learn. I like to spin around
on the combination kicks. I like to beat up the bags. I like
doing sit-ups with high fives in Ms. Carlucci's classes.
Kurt Arnold.

I like working hard, reaching higher goals
and learning more stuff.
Steven Altman.

Our family finds great value in Lee Brothers
because of the combination of discipline, regimen, and physical
challenges. We particularly value the emphasis place on all
the items listed in the ten student commitments.

Tae Kwon Do became of interest to me about
seven years ago when I was searching for a meaningful activity
for my stepson, who was six years old at the time and diagnosed
with Attention Deficit Disability, along with being gifted
in intelligence. I felt the role models and examples he would
learn in Tae Kwon Do classes would benefit him in all his
activities, academics and ultimately in life. The focus and
direction in Tae Kwon Do, I believed would provide necessary
guidance for him and continual challenges. The best of what
we can give our children, I believed, is to love them and
teach them moderation and give them challenges versus medications
and quick cures. I never did get the chance to enroll him
as he went to live with his biological mother in Arkansas.
Years later, when my son Kurt encountered a bully in kindergarten,
I decided to enroll him, at five years old, and my daughter,
Christine, who was four years old, and myself in Tae Kwon
Do. My efforts before this with my children had been solely
academics, music and imaginary play, but all this changed
when we started to learn the sport and discipline of Tae Kwon
Do. After only a few months, I noticed a change in my son.
He was now assertive and confident. His personality of being
polite and agreeable didn't change, but behavior on the part
of my son was changing when he was confronted with challenges
at school. We are now blue belts in Tae Kwon Do and still
have much to learn. At his point, we are concentrating on
doing our best a kicking and trying hard to be respectful
of the rules in Tae Kwon Do class and also in our daily lives.
I have tremendously enjoyed Tae Kwon Do and exercising with
my kids. I appreciate the beautiful forms and spinning kicks
when I see people applying the technique and mastering this
sport and art. What I feel most comfortable about in Tae Kwon
Do is the family atmosphere at this Lee Brothers Tae Kwon
Do school geared toward the children, where the instructors,
beginning with Master Jung Ho Lee, teach us many things beyond
just mastering TKD. The code of conduct in the ten articles
and student credo reach beyond the classroom into our lives
for living peacefully and consistently in the world around
us. TKD is not a combative sport to me, but an individual
challenge to live life in peace, and to promote peace and
higher living. The motto at Lee Brothers, of reaching out
to one person at a time to change the community, is meaningful
in this world of turmoil and change. It is my opinion that
change starts at the individual level, such as in educating
people from when they are young. Tae Kwon Do is an excellent
self-defense art, and I have truly enjoyed learning self-defense
for women from the experts at Lee Brothers. The instructors
are committed to helping others gain confidence and giving
back to the community. TKD appears highly physical but for
me, mostly, TKD provides inner strength and awareness, knowledge
and a basis for intellect. It truly is an art form which allows
for individual expression. We learn more about ourselves in
TKD, our own strengths and weaknesses. If you asked me the
things I most enjoy in life, they are: music, art, TKD, Baseball
and hiking. Ultimately, Tae Kwon Do is beneficial as a healing
element in life for all distresses. It is the ultimate combative
element to disease, unhealthy living and self-pity. Tae Kwon
Do motivates us to achieve and do our very best in everything.
I highly advise everyone to enroll, whatever age and ability,
in TKD! All that is necessary is that you keep trying to do
your best!
Judy Arnold.

 |
Tae Kwon Do allows me to partake in an "at
your pace" exercise program which has improved my health
and stamina. It is affordable and is setup with instructors
that are knowledgeable and willing to share their skills to
make me feel comfortable, even if the training gets awkward
at times… I like the family atmosphere that's always
presented by everyone involved in the program, especially
the patience…that is incredible!
Elijah Scott.
|
 |
Tae Kwon Do has instilled self-discipline
and respect into my daily routines, increased my physical
capabilities, and made life as a whole more fulfilling. I
like Lee Brothers TKD mostly because of the friendly people,
welcoming atmosphere and the opportunity that the school offers.
Each and every part of my Tae Kwon Do experience has been
enjoyable.
Jamie Pearce.
|
 |
I like Tae Kwon Do because it is fun. We get
to do different things, like different kicks and punches and
we learn forms. I like Master Lee, Bonnie and Mr. Menefee.
I like to get tokens. I like to come to classes because they
do fun stuff. I like when I do kicking because I learn new
kicks. I like it because it is a little hard and a little
easy. Everybody is nice to me. I like doing my homework at
after-school care because after your homework you get to draw,
but you have to finish your homework before you get to draw.
I like to come to classes because you do self-defense, forms,
kicking and punching. We do sparring, learn how to fall and
we stretch.
Christine Arnold.
|
 |
Tae Kwon Do helps me have self-control and
it gives me confidence. I probably like the form a lot because
I think it's just so much fun to do forms. I also like the
breaking because it's really fun to break through a board.
Will Parsons.
|
 |
I do Tae Kwon Do to learn. Lee Brothers teaches
me self-discipline. I learn to always finish what I start.
I learn kicks, punches, etc., but most of all, I have fun.
John Kleinert.
|
 |
When I started Tae Kwon Do, I was looking
for some exercise program to join - and an activity that I
could share with my son. But what I've received is much more.
Previously, when I'd taken aerobics or exercise classes, you
just went at your own pace and quit if you wanted to. But
Tae Kwon Do is much different. The principles of discipline
and stretching yourself further than what's easy are good
lessons for me. I'm a procrastinator and learning to do more
than what's expected helps me be a better person. I like Lee
Brothers because I'm not treated like a 42-year-old woman
who's starting a sport - everyone expects more and that's
good.
Margaret Cowan.
|
 |
For several years, I had been looking for
an activity that that I could do as a parent together with
my children. Lee Brothers TKD made this possible. Over the
last year, I have been able to do TKD with my 12-year-old
son and my 17-year-old daughter. We have all enjoyed it. While
we have each gotten in better physical shape, the fact that
we have done TKD together has meant the most to me. My relationship
with my son and with my daughter has grown stronger as we
have worked together toward a shared goal.
William J. Parsons.

 |
TKD teaches me defenses for things that might
happen.
Joshua Thomas.
|
| |
I enjoy watching Joshua and how much he enjoys
his classes and his dedication. He is always ready to come
to class.
Jenny Thomas.
|
 |
I like TKD because it teaches self-defense
for fighting and also how to control your strength and your
ability to focus and learn. I think Tae Kwon Do is good for
all people to get good workouts and defense movements.
David Roman, Jr.
|
| |
I like TKD because my son has the opportunity
to exercise on a daily basis, he is learning about discipline
and self control, and also because he has the chance to meet
other kids with the same or similar goals.
David Roman.
|
 |
Tae Kwon Do has been a wonderful opportunity
for me to spend time with my dad and brother. It has taught
me confidence and perseverance. The aspect of TKD that I enjoy
the most is that the instructors, such as Mr. Menefee, are
will to help me with my kicks outside of class. Their willingness
to give up some of their time to spend on a green belt with
really bad aim shows a degree of selflessness that I find
admirable. Instead of being selfish with their time, they
spend it on others, putting the needs of others above their
own. That is humility in action.
Emily Parsons.
|
 |
In the past, TKD taught me respect. Now, it
teaches me to be humble. I like Lee Brothers TKD because of
the flexible class times, and the interactive student-teacher
relationships. I hope that in continuing to progress through
the ranks of TKD, I learn humbleness, as well as a greater
respect for others and myself.
Wade Gordon.
|
 |
I like Tae Kwon Do because it teaches you
self-discipline. It has made me a better person in school
and at home. There are many people with higher belts and the
same belt levels that are good examples of role models to
look up to.
Olle Dellblad.
|
 |
What I like most about TKD is the kicking
combos and breaking techniques. What I like about Lee Brothers
is how they make learning fun. What I learned at TKD is to
be nice to others.
Nathan Holzworth.
|
 |
I like Tae Kwon Do because it is fun, but
I hate the study guides. I like it when we break wooden boards
in exams. It is hard to get a token. TKD is really fun.
David Anampa.
|
 |
I like Lee Brothers because it has helped
me to be more focused in school. I also like the part in the
program where you break the boards. TKD also has helped me
to become more flexible, which I love! The best part about
TKD is that I can show-off my skills to other people. I also
like that it is challenging. The best part about TKD is that
it is fun yet hard work, and I'm very glad I joined.
Nikki Glass.
|
 |
What I like about Lee Brothers TKD is the
friendly atmosphere and the people. You always feel welcome
here. Through TKD, I have gained flexibility and strength.
Master Lee plays a big part in my satisfaction with this Do
Jahn. He has unending patience with the kids, and has put
together a great staff.
Linda Altman.
|
 |
I like Lee Brothers because it is fun to learn
new forms and because it is good exercise. I also like it
when we do fun things, like chicken-fighting. My goal in Tae
Kwon Do is to one day earn my black belt.
Brian Lipscomb.
|
 |
Adrian is learning work ethics from consistent
and constant practices. He is also learning disciplines, such
as respecting seniors and peers, as well as listening. These
are basic values. I'm delighted that Adrian gets to practice
regularly.
Young Hee Overly.
|
 |
I like Lee Brothers Tae Kwon Do because I
can learn to respect others and I have self-defense if I need
it in a real life situation. I like to do breaking because
I get to break boards.
Jonathan Glass.
|
 |
Tae Kwon Do has helped me in many things,
such as concentration and respect. Most of all, it has helped
my balance. I like everything about Tae Kwon Do, mostly self-defense
and sparring.
Shelby Anderson.
|
| |
It has greatly improved Shelby's self-confidence,
balance and stamina. It has helped Shelby set goals and achieve
them. Shelby has shown this by being on "A" honor
roll for the entire school year. Thank you for providing a
positive environment for Shelby to grow.
Kay Anderson
|
 |
Lee Brothers has not only given my daughter
Shelby a place to excel mentally and physically, it has given
us another home and many friends. I feel good every time we
walk through the door because I know that people truly care
for both of us. The D.E.W. I.T. program made me feel more
confident, and I love the activities offered for the kids,
like Sleepover Night. I feel comfortable leaving Shelby with
everyone here at Lee Brothers, and the personal attention
we both receive from all of the staff and other members. We
don't have any immediate family, but Lee Brothers has become
our family. Watching Master Lee work has taught me how to
interact better with others, and the staff have made me feel
part of the Lee Brothers family! Thank you so very much!
Tonya Powell.
|
 |
The benefits received from Tae Kwon Do would
be that it motivates me to stay physically fit and mentally
concentrated on what I need to do in class and in life; taking
the time to meditate and focus. I am doing a sport with my
children and spending the time together with them to achieve
our mutual goals.
Raj Gosai.

I began taking TKD because I worked across
the street and figured I would give it a try. Unsure of signing
a three-year contract because of my problem with commitment,
I only signed up for one, assuming I would lose interest,
eventually. However, a year later, I am signing on for another
two years. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The instructors
and students are all great people, always willing to help
you with a kick or form. Personally, I don't know what I would
do without my classes all week. It's a great way to release
some energy (especially after my stressful days). It is also
a wonderful workout. Physically, I am in much better shape
than before. I used to be able to do a max of 20 sit-ups in
a row. Now I can do 60 without resting. I also feel more confident
mentally. I am still in the beginning stages, but I feel like
I have gained the knowledge to handle myself better if I ever
got into a "sticky" situation. I will only get better
with time. I really enjoy Lee Brothers. I have felt welcome
since the first day. Even through switching jobs and being
20 minutes away, I still try to drive there at least once
a day (even though I have to work late to make up for it).
Margaret Macomson.
|
 |
For me, Tae Kwon Do has been a pleasant experience
in that it gives me some time each week to spend with my son.
As he gets older, the time we spend together is often limited
by the things he wants to do. TKD has provided a challenge
for both of us to work through together. The physical activity
is helpful as well - - it's far too easy to spend available
free time being sedentary. Although I am usually tired after
each class, I know the benefits of the activities have been
evident.
Chip Roehrl.

Matthew Greenhaw thinks Tae Kwon Do is awesome.
Breaking boards is his absolute favorite! Sparring is also
cool. As a parent who is very new to Tae Kwon Do, I can say
that I am very impressed with the instructors and the level
of patience it takes to teach all these children and adults.
The different moves that have to be memorized are very intricate
and I am always so proud of each and everyone who is currently
testing and hopefully promoted. It's a great facility and
serves a very important role in our community!
Fondly, Linda Greenhaw.
|
 |
Jake has truly enjoyed learning Tae Known
Do at Lee Brothers. He is challenged, encouraged, and excited
by the things he has learned. The physical and emotional benefits
of the program are outstanding. Thanks for all you do to nurture
and teach!
Angie Morris.

I like Lee Brothers because my friends go
to Lee Brothers and I make new friends at Lee Brothers.
Taylor Harrison.

|
Tae Kwon Do has been a blessing for us as
a family. We have learned the importance of not being a quitter,
to have a goal in life and to be the best that you can be
as a person. We love being here under the teaching of Master
Lee because of his caring and loving spirit. I know Damaris
and Isaac still have a long way to go, but as students of
Tae Kwon Do, we have confidence and believe in ourselves.
Nothing is too hard if you put your mind to it. Thank you
Master Lee and Team. With Love,
The Bates Family.

I am learning to set goals and to do what

TKD provides a way to exercise, to be disciplined,
and something fun to look forward to. Advancing into the higher
belts gives the kids a goal/reward for their hard work.
Thanks. Flora Batca.
|
 |
My favorite thing in Tae Kwon Do is leg-raises.
I like it because I feel really good. I like Tae Kwon Do because
I like to exercise. The thing I don't like in Tae Kwon Do
is spin-fall because it hurts.
Jason Anampa.
|
 |
We participate in TKD as a family activity
and it has been a productive and healthy way to build a family
hobby. We are all in better shape and are more aware of the
need for discipline and the beauty of showing respect and
kindness. Lee Brothers TKD is well organized. Classes start
and end on time and each individual is shown respect and courtesy.
Instructors are friendly and helpful and the many extra activities
hosted by Lee Brothers TKD are a hit with the children.
Anneli Richter.

|
As a parent, I am very impressed by the skills
that have been developed in my children through TKD. I have
seen general fitness level steadily increase in my children.
They have learned to concentrate and work toward a goal until
they have achieved their goal and as a result, have learned
through consistent effort they can succeed. Additionally,
the staff at Lee Brothers TKD has gone above and beyond to
make my children feel welcome and to help my boys on an individual
basis when they may have been having trouble in certain areas.
The positive attitude of the staff and expectation of success
have had an impact on my children that will be long-lasting
and far-reaching.
Laurie Smith.

In a short few weeks we have seen improvement
in DJ's self-confidence and independence. The Lee Brothers
staff has shown not only knowledge but also teaching ability
and patience. DJ loved the St. Patrick's Day Parade. His is
most interested in being sure that his form and movement are
correct.

My greatest joy is in watching dedicated,
patient Lee Brothers' instructors with Bryce. The smile on
his face, the anticipation he brings to the workouts, and
the focus and perseverance exhibited by your instructors means
everything to his mother and me. The sense of accomplishment
that he brings home after his sessions contributes immeasurably
to his self-esteem, and only heightens our pride in our greatest
treasure. Thank you for your continued efforts, and thank
you for never quitting on Bryce!
Roger O'Dell.

 |
Some of the benefits I have received from
Tae-Kwon-Do are self-defense, exercise and I have learned
to respect others. I like Lee Brothers TKD because it is in
a convenient location, the instructors are nice and it teaches
you what you need to know and doesn't waste time. The thing
I enjoy most about TKD is the fact that it's fun and when
I come home from TKD, I don't feel tired, but I feel energized.
The thing I like most about TKD is when we do blocks.
Stephanie Satterwhite.

Jacob has become a much more respectful child.
He has learned how to be more polite. He offers to help out
more and has also begun taking school assignments more seriously.
He truly enjoys his experiences at Lee Brothers. He's constantly
talking about fellow students and staff. It's almost like
a part of our family now. He practices moves he is learning
all the time! It's great to see him be involved in such a
great program. He looks forward to it so much. I can't wait
to see how far he can take it. It is great for him and he
truly enjoys it.

As a fat, old lady with a sedentary job, I
have long been concerned with my lack of exercise. For over
a year I sat and watched my two sons learn and advance through
different levels of Tae Kwon Do. Then, I realized I could
get a workout with my kids. At first, my family was skeptical.
My eight year old said, "Mommy, I hope they don't make
fun of you." I am pleased to say that no one did (although
the opportunities were and are rampant.) The boys and I have
different goals, but we all enjoy the workout and the challenge.
My husband is surprised and pleased, and I feel virtuous.

Martial Arts is awesome with kicks, punches,
falls, jumps and other fun and interesting techniques. I like
Lee Brothers because learning Tae Kwon Do is fun. The aspects
I enjoy the most are sparring, kicking, punching and jumping.

I like sparring and when I get a new belt.

I think Lee Brothers is a great place to learn
Tae Kwon Do because it has a good environment and it is a
great place to be. It also teaches us how to live a healthy
lifestyle. Most of all, it gives us a chance to learn self-defense
and how to greatly progress in our lives.
Ben McNaughton.

Tae Kwon Do training has provided our son,
Scot, with the opportunity to develop physically and to improve
his focus and self-confidence. The training and support he
has received from Master Lee and by his team of instructors
has been superb, and appropriately tailored to his age and
skill level. Tae Kwon Do has been a wonderful influence on
Scot's life.

Anthony has increased self-confidence and
is much more independent in doing his homework and helping
out around the house. He is doing excellent with his schoolwork
and gets wonderful grades.
Mary Elyn Cacchione.

 |
What I like about Lee Brothers is that they
challenge you with hard things, but they are fun to do. The
instructors are very nice and help you with things that are
difficult until you are very good at them. I also like the
stretching and working out in the morning. I think it keeps
me fit and healthy. My most favorite thing about TKD is that
we don't just learn TKD stuff (even though that's pretty fun.)
At the end of class we usually play games such as tug-a-war,
races, etc. I think this keeps people motivated about TKD.
Rhett Johnson.

Tae Kwon Do helps me with my self-defense.
It is also helping me to be bold and brave. These classes
help me build muscles and strength and flexibility. One of
the things I have now is confidence.
