So...
anyway, after I got married I got a certificate as a travel agent and
worked as one for a couple of years, then I got another certificate as
a photographer and developed photos at several local labs for another
couple of years... and then, we decided to go back to Spain together and
start a family there. Ironically, the marriage ended up in divorce soon
after and I then started taking all exams and tests there were to get
different certificates and diplomas in the english language. As a result,
I got the "First Certificate" and the "Proficiency"
by Cambridge, the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), the TOEIC
(Test of English for International Communications) and the 5-year-degree
by the "Official Language School" in Madrid. I then worked for
almost 4 years in 3 different jobs, putting in a total of 32 hours a week:
I was hired as a native teacher in "Wall Street Institute" (part
of Sylvan Learning Systems) teaching english to teens and adults, and
I was also teaching english to 4th graders twice a week at an elementary
school, and tutoring kids at my house. It wasn't until recently that I
started looking at my most beloved hobby of Photography as something else
and decided to start my own business. From there I taught myself html
from tutorials online, designed my own web site, grew as a business, started
getting jobs as a web and graphic designer, and well... here I am, attending
College to hopefully turn into a professional in my field and learn as
much as I can!
