Mommy lived with some of her friends while she was pregnant; she stayed with her friend Al for quite a few months, at Crystal's for a couple of weeks, and at Rosa & Javier's for 2 or 3 months until they left to move back to Spain. Once she gave birth, she travelled with grandma and I to Spain and she took care of some personal matters like selling property, packing, and getting all the paperwork straight. After that and a fun and healthy summer at the beach, we all returned to the USA. It is funny how much I got to travel around as a baby... I was but a couple of months and I had already travelled by airplane, by car, by bus, by train, always on the move to get all things wrapped up and ready. This was a major and definite international move and so many things had to be considered and taken care of. I had little cribs and playpens everywhere, back in the USA at Al's, in a storage unit together with our car and some more belongings waiting for our return, at grandma's in Spain, at my aunt Conchi's, etc... and when we were somewhere where we didn't or couldn't drag all the baby staff, I would sleep in creative and original places like huge plastic boxes where my aunt kept her crafts, and I would take baths in sinks and plastic buckets. It was definitely a challenge! Now, we have been back to the USA and settled down for over two years and my mom loves it. Mommy is in the process of becoming an American citizen and claiming grandma so she moves back with us, and she manages the house, a second one we rent out, her new business and she goes to school full time. She's actually thinking about getting a double major in internet technologies and graphic design. She's always busy but she likes the way things are and all she's involved in, and to make things even better, the Lord blessed our little family with Luis, mommy's fiancée and my daddy. He's very nice and good to me and we play a lot together. He throws me up in the air, he ties towels to my neck and makes me a super-hero, he reads me stories, he tickles me and fights with me, we play ball, he's lots of fun and I constantly tell him how much I love him.
Mom likes him a lot too and she says that he's also very clever and fun to talk to, and she's very proud that he's got three College degrees. She says that he's a good family man with values and a hard worker, qualities hard to find these days... They actually plan on getting married next year, and I will be the ring-bearer. Right now my mom is on a diet to try and be all thin and pretty again, while they both grow stronger as a family and work on saving money for the wedding rings, the Ceremony and the honeymoon. And they want to be married twice, here in Raleigh (a very small wedding with a handfull of friends) and in Lima, Peru, a romantic and big ceremony with all the family members and Luis' neighbors and friends. OK guys, I don't have anything else to say, just BE GOOD, BE CAREFUL and DON'T THROW or BREAK THINGS! :).These are things mom's telling me all the time, and so I often play grown-up and tell other people the same. |

OK, I am back...
Next month will be my third birthday, and mommy is going to celebrate with
a party at home as well as one at my Day Care Center. I have many friends
there and I do lots of crafts and art projects. They also teach me the numbers,
my abc's, songs, spanish words, etc. Luis got some video recording tapes the
other day to start making movies of me as I grow up. Oh, and I love it because
last month he got me "Madagascar", the first movie I ever watched
at a movie theatre with mom, and later again with both of them, once Luis
had moved here with us from New York. It is my first favorite movie ever and
I am always singing: "... I like to move it, move it ..." Here are
some images from the movie and also an animated graphic that mommy made for
me. And if you click on the graphic, you can hear the song, cool!
Other things that I just love...? Well, I'd say dinasours, dragons, super-heroes,
monsters, pokemon, animals in general, power rangers, cars and trucks, toys,
kitchen toys, lol!, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Mickey Mouse, kisses, hugs and
tickles, printed photos, stickers, cartoon movies, pancakes and eggs for breakfast,
spaguetti, pizza, chocolate, cake and candy, bubble gum, plain bread, milk
(like a cat), juice of all flavors, painting (with real paint and a brush,
not crayons), the word "zapato" (ever since I learned to say it
well and not say "pasapo" anymore... which did make everyone laugh
before though), saying my colors in Spanish, soda (though mommy doesn't let
me but taste it when I'm super good and ate all my food), going out, eating
out, swimming in the pool, taking baths with a bathtub full of toys, my mommy,
Luis, my grandma Loli, my grandma Conchi, my Godfather Al, my aunty Rosa,
my baby girl friend Racquel, etc.

Hello again, I am back to tell you that I am already
THREE!!! I'm getting so big...
You may click here
to visit my Birthday Party Spiderman WebSite.
Mommy decided that I should tell you some funny things about myself:
1. When I was a baby, a Lady from the Hospital came to visit and make sure I was doing well and when she went to weight me on her little portable scale and took my diapers off... I peed all over them.
2. The first time Mom & Dad were kissing I was really shocked and didn't know what they were doing and so I just stared at them and I started to roll my tongue and make funny noises.
3. One day, daddy took me to get some food from Mc.Donalds, and when he put me up on the counter while getting his wallet, I farted right on his face....
4. One day we were all sleeping and in the middle of the night I fell off the bed. Mommy jumped off the bed to catch me in the middle of her sleep and so she ended up upside down on the floor with me. Daddy woke up from the noise and could only see mom's legs sticking out and moving. We all laughed for days and we still joke about it: Mommy to the rescue!
5. Lately I must be getting big and all, because I pay attention to things I never had before, and so I tell mom things like she's a girl, or a princess, or that she doesn't have a butt, butt, that I like her breasts, etc... and so a few weeks back I was taking a shower with my daddy and I was curious to grab his butt, butt, and when I tried to, he said: "No Samuel, you have your own butt, butt; don't do that" and so I answered: "But daddy, yours is big...". I still don't know what is so funny about that, but mom and dad were laughing for almost an hour!
6. When I was a toddler and I started going to my Day Care Center, I used to take off my shoes all the time. One day, when mommy went to pick me up later, they gave her me with just one shoe: My teachers had been looking for it for hours but couldn't find the other one, and so they think I threw it in the trash before it was all picked up and taken to the container outside.
More things I like now: Dora the Explorer, Popeye, Birthday Parties, my daddy's red new car, my outdoor toys and pool, my Tigger bycicle, my Spiderman Kite, drawing on my chalkboard, etc.
