We go through life trying to excel
good grades in school and College
and later a good job as well.

But let me tell you, my Samuel
you're my greatest achievement by far
and the day when I first saw you
you immediately stole my heart.

I truly think you're my angel
God's gift from up above,
I prayed to have a little boy
and God granted me a child to love.

You fill my thoughts and meet all my expectations
you already did from day one.
I love you, little boy
my sweetest accomplishment
my perfect gift from the Lord.

My heart aches when we're not together
my eyes fill with tears
but soon I'll see you and be with you
for the rest of my life, my dear.
